Lincoln G.O.L.D. Awards Scholarships at Annual Gala

Lincoln G.O.L.D. (LincolnGold.org) is pleased to report the organization was able to present 27 scholarships to local high school seniors at its 2nd annual gala! The Board extends its gratitude to all of the community partners whose generosity helped make a difference this year.

Thank you to Lexus of Lincoln, Midwest Bank, Certified Piedmontese Beef, Husker Rehabilitation and Wellness, Nebraska Heart Institute, The Gallup Organization, Sid Dillon, Lincoln Surgical Hospital, The Nebraska Neurosurgery Group, Krueger Family Dentistry, First State Bank, Union Bank and Trust, Nebraska Animal Medical Center, Lee and Debbie Stuart Family Foundation, and Cornhusker Bank.

The date has already been set for the 3rd Annual Gala, which will again be held at The Cornhusker – mark your calendars for March 10th, 2018! Entertainment will be provided by a live band from St. Louis.

G.O.L.D. stands for Girls Organization for Leadership and Development. Founded in 2015, this non-profit serves with a two-fold mission. It is a leadership development and community engagement program for high school junior and senior girls and a scholarship program for Lincoln area high school seniors attending a Nebraska college. Lincoln G.O.L.D was formed by individuals passionate about preparing young women for success and making college more attainable for students who demonstrate leadership and civic sensibilities.
