Loaves and Fishes Announces Impressive Results for 2020 Nonprofit Food Services
Through its partner company, LuLu’s on N (lulusonn.com), the nonprofit Loaves and Fishes served 3,994 meals, provided 949 bags of groceries, and delivered 184 basic hygiene kits in 2020—all at no cost—to members of our community who are experiencing food insecurity. With the financial pressure of COVID felt deeply, Loaves and Fishes witnessed an increase in demand and are serving those who are living on the fringes, as well as the homeless population. They also partnered with the F Street Community Center to provide meals to youth who visited the center.
Everything that Loaves and Fishes accomplishes is thanks to generous donations that support their mission of feeding all those who are hungry. Loaves and Fishes is a nonprofit that strives to walk alongside downtown Lincoln’s homeless population, offering them food, support, and basic hygiene items. LuLu’s on N is a walk-up restaurant and full-service caterer in downtown Lincoln. Every purchase made at LuLu’s directly supports their Loaves and Fishes mission.
