Mark Your Calendars for “Colors of Hope: Cancer Research Fundraiser”

The Nebraska Cancer Research Center (www.necancerresearch.org) is planning its 4th Annual “Colors of Hope: Cancer Research Fundraiser” brought to you by Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center. The event will be held at the Country Club of Lincoln on Thursday, August 24, 2017. It will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a delicious meal, a silent auction of desserts and other donated items as well as a live auction of larger items, which includes vacation packages.

In 2016, more than 150 guests assisted with efforts to raise money for NCRC and bring awareness to the importance of cancer research to the Lincoln community. Thank you to all of last year’s guests and sponsors who helped raise over $20,000!

NCRC is a program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Over 2,000 volunteers have participated in treatment, prevention and control trials through NCRC over the past 33 years, helping to identify more effective cancer treatments and improve the quality of life of cancer patients. NCRC partners with local hospitals and oncology clinics to provide cutting edge research through clinical trials. At any one time, there are 30-35 clinical trials open for enrollment through NCRC.

NCRC is currently looking for event sponsors and auction items. There are several generous marketing packages available to event sponsors. For more information, contact Kelly Madcharo at (402) 327-6851 or visit www.necancerresearch.org.
