Matt Talbot Calls Out to Volunteers for Huskers Helping the Homeless Sept 26–29

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (mtko.org/huskers) is hosting the 23nd Annual Huskers Helping the Homeless event the weekend of September 26–29. Local businesses, families, and individuals can show their support by volunteering, serving as sponsors, and donating during the event.

“The money raised during this event supports our hunger relief and homeless prevention services 365 days a year, bringing us closer to our vision of defeating hunger and homelessness in Lincoln,” said Susanne Blue, executive director. “Our sponsors, more than 600 volunteers of all ages, and the generous community members who donate all bring such a positive community spirit to this event. We are looking forward to a fun weekend!”

This is a great volunteer opportunity for families, sports teams, scouting groups, youth groups, and work teams.

Locations are available downtown on game day or throughout the weekend at local grocery stores and retailers.
