Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (mtko.org) is pleased to welcome three new board members in 2023. The new members are Teresa Ewins, chief, Lincoln Police Department; Karen Flaxman, SHRM-CP, retired human resource specialist and community volunteer; Amanda Ostergard, CPA and community volunteer.

The Executive Committee is unchanged and includes Alynn Sampson, vice president of operations and impact at the Food Bank of Lincoln, as board president; Natasha Plooster, chief operating officer at Bridgepoint Investment Banking, as immediate past president; Greg Frayser, attorney with Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, as president elect; and Kiley Wiechman, accountant with HBE Becker Meyer Love, continues her service on the committee as treasurer.

“Our Board of Directors is a critical component of our organization,” said Susanne Blue, executive director. “We are grateful for the commitment demonstrated by these individuals. Their compassion and leadership is important as we continue to work towards our vision of defeating hunger and homelessness and restoring hope every day.”
