Save The Date: Merrymakers Annual Songs and Suds Fundraiser Set for July 28th

Merrymakers (www.merrymakers.org) is gearing up for Songs and Suds, its annual fun-, fund- and friend-raising karaoke event. This will be the fourth year and hopefully the biggest ever!

To be held at the Old Mattress Factory in Omaha on July 28th at 6:00 p.m., Songs and Suds will feature DJ Howie. Event chairman is Kasey Harrison and honorary chairs are Mary and Tom Kerr. Tickets are $75 or $30 for those under 30. Sponsorships are available for host couples ($250) and companies ($500). See the Merrymakers website for tickets: www.merrymakers.org.

The Merrymakers Association is a 501 (c) (3) organization, started in 1986 by Jim Johnson, which provides professional entertainment to 136 senior homes in Nebraska and Iowa. Its mission statement: to improve the quality of life for seniors by encouraging active participation, increasing social interaction, and sparking memories through professional entertainment.

Merrymakers is led by Executive Director Patti Craig and is based in Omaha, NE. Craig is supported by a Board of Directors.
