The Monarch Releases 2015 Annual Report
The Monarch recently released their 2015 Annual Report to the community. The Monarch is a freestanding facility focused on hospice care, enhancing the continuity and quality of care delivered to terminally ill individuals. Their trained, professional staff partner with all area hospice agencies to provide comfort/palliative care to residents and their families. Owned and managed by Eastmont Towers, The Monarch is a not-for-profit, non-denominational facility.
The Monarch celebrated 12 years of compassionate end-of-life care since its founding in 2003. Since opening, The Monarch has cared for more than 1,000 patients and their families in the Lincoln area and provided over $1 million in benevolent care. Most notably, this last year The Monarch provided over 600 days of benevolent care to patients, made upgrades to the building including the kitchen, living room areas and nurse’s station, and continued to be a place for education for nurses and those interested in hospice care.
