NAM’s Fundraising Palooza to Feature Local Fundraising and Grant Writing Experts

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM, nonprofitam.org) is pleased to announce the speakers presenting at their annual Fundraising Palooza, scheduled for Thursday, June 9. Fundraising Palooza is a professional development workshop designed to help fundraisers and grant writers spotlight their enriching programs and organizations.

Fundraising Palooza will include a full day of in-person workshops and a panel event covering all aspects of fundraising. Participants will learn critical skills and best practices during interactions with industry experts and gain valuable insight in the following workshops led by local experts:

  • “I Just Got My 501C3 Status, Now How Do I Get Grants?” – Katie LeDoux, Sunflower Grant Writers
  • “Make Your Own Paradise: 10 No-cost or Low-cost Ways for Small Shops to Raise More Money” – Brenda Helge, A Time to Heal Foundation; and Brandi Holys, Children’s Scholarship Fund
  • “Measuring Program Success for Nonprofits” – Jonathan Weber-Mendez, Write On Fundraising
  • “Capturing Donor Motivators in Your Annual Appeal” – Cindy Elifrits Peterson, Maximizing Excellence, LLC

The event, which will be held at The Living Room at the Mastercraft Building, 1111 N 13th St. in Omaha, will also feature an expansive networking opportunity for fundraisers interested in sharing new ideas and innovative methods.
