Nebraska Safety Council and WorkWell Continues to Accept Nominations for Legacy Awards

Nebraska Safety Council and WorkWell’s (nesafetycouncil.org) annual Legacy Awards are still accepting nominations from the public.  The Legacy Awards are recognition for individuals that are personal and professional health and wellness leaders.  Nominations are being accepted until March 25 for the following categories:

Lifetime Wellness Ambassador Award

Lifetime Wellness Ambassador Award: This award recognizes an individual’s leadership in culture and policy change within Nebraska’s worksites.

Professional Leadership Awards

Leading By Example Award: This award recognizes an individual who leads by example through exemplary leadership skills, wellness passion, and humility.

Breakthrough Leadership Award: This award recognizes a new and/or advancing leader in the field of wellness and health promotion.

Champion Awards

Individual Champion Award: This award recognizes an individual who has made significant improvements in their own personal health or has been a living example of a healthy lifestyle for several years.

Leadership Champion Award: This award recognizes an individual who has made significant contribution to the advancement and promotion of personal health or the health of others.

The Awards will be held on May 12th, from 6-9 p.m. at the Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln.
