Nebraska’s premier amateur sports festival, the Cornhusker State Games (cornhuskerstategames.com), is back and bigger than ever! Taking
place July 10–20, 2025, this annual celebration of fitness, fun, and community will feature a wide variety of sporting events for participants of all ages and skill levels.
Organized by the Nebraska Sports Council, the Cornhusker State Games showcases the very best of Nebraska’s athletic talent and community
spirit. With over 70 sports represented—ranging from soccer, swimming, wrestling, and weightlifting to pickleball, disc golf, and martial arts—
the Games offer something for everyone, from first-time competitors to seasoned athletes.
Each year, thousands of Nebraskans come together to compete, volunteer, and cheer, creating a vibrant atmosphere that extends beyond the field of

The Games will officially kick off with the highly anticipated Opening Ceremonies, featuring the torch-lighting and a community celebration
