The Foundry’s second annual Nebraska Trailblazers Breakfast will bring together 200 talented students and business leaders on Friday, September 5, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at DelRay 817 for meaningful conversations about building Nebraska’s future workforce.

This interactive breakfast will create direct connections between students and business leaders, exploring how the entrepreneurial mindset can transform careers and organizations while addressing our state’s brain drain challenge. At each thoughtfully curated table, four established business leaders will engage with four high-achieving Nebraska students in authentic discussions about entrepreneurship, career development, and practical strategies to turn brain drain into brain gain.

Dr. Samuel Nelson, director of the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship, will deliver the keynote address on how entrepreneurship extends beyond starting businesses to creating change, solving problems, and identifying opportunities.

Building on last year’s success, Trailblazers provides business leaders with unique opportunities to learn talent attraction and retention strategies directly from emerging professionals. Every individual registration contributes a donation for a student or young professional ticket.
