The Norfolk Veterans Home, located at 600 E Benjamin Ave in Norfolk, NE opened on June 3, 1963 as the Norfolk Soldiers and Sailors Annex with 13 members. Members moved to the current location in 2001 with the current capacity capabilities of 151 members. The Norfolk Veterans Home provides domiciliary care (Assisted Living Care) and skilled nursing care in a home-like setting. Members, families, and visitors enjoy the Veterans Memory Plaza located in the front of the facility which showcases two life-size bronze statues, eight fallen soldier statues, an eternal flame, and benches with etched war scenes, flags of all five branches and the American flag. Members and families also enjoy the amenities of Heroes Park located behind our facility.
