People’s City Mission (PCMLincoln.org) is kicking off its January Winter Clothing Drive and inviting the Lincoln community to donate gently used winter hats, gloves, coats, and boots for all ages throughout the month of January. Donations can be placed in any of PCM’s red clothing toss boxes located across the city or dropped off at the back dock of the PCM Help Center at 6800 P Street.
Each year, People’s City Mission distributes more than one million articles of clothing and household goods thanks to the generosity of local donors. These essential items support more than 40,000 individuals in need through the Mission’s Help Center. Winter clothing is especially vital during the coldest months, as many families struggle to stay warm and meet basic needs.
PCM accepts clothing donations year-round, but January provides a key opportunity for residents to give winter-specific items that make an immediate difference.
