People’s Health Center is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has chosen Brad Meyer, MHA to be the organization’s chief executive officer. Meyer began his duties at People’s Health Center on September 15.  Meyer comes to People’s Health Center from United Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in Storm Lake, Iowa, where he was the chief executive officer for more than three years. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Administration degrees from Bellevue University.

As CEO, Meyer will be responsible for developing the organization’s strategic vision; overseeing fiscal management and stability of the organization; and ensuring that mission of providing affordable, comprehensive, accessible, culturally appropriate, cost-effective primary health care is being met.

People’s Health Center, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2003, is an FQHC as designated by the Bureau of Primary Health Care.
