Thanks to active community participation in Prosper Lincoln (www.ProsperLincoln.org) , more than 2,000 opinions and ideas from local residents were submitted on how to improve the city. People were encouraged to use the Lincoln Vital Signs findings and offer their ideas on ways to strengthen the community and help everyone in Lincoln prosper.
These ideas will now be synthesized by the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center. Beginning in August, a steering committee will start working with the information to create a community agenda and develop working groups to build action plans focused on three key areas – youth success, economic prosperity and quality of life.
