Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers partnered with KLKN’s Channel 8 and Latsch’s for its 5th Annual “Stuff the Bus” promotion that raised school supplies for Lincoln PK-12 students in need. Residents were asked to donate new and packaged school supplies from July 22nd-August 7th and in turn were given a free 21oz freshly squeezed lemonade for their support. Raising Cane’s also gave customers the option to round up their checks to support this cause and raise additional funds. Through these efforts and the partnerships with KLKN and Latsch’s, restaurant owners Jennifer and Justin Jones were able to raise over $2,200 and also donate supplies to support hundreds of children in need throughout Lincoln area schools. The Jones’ would like to thank everyone who donated money and supplies to this event and made it possible for children to have the necessary supplies to start a great school year.
