Registration Opens February 27 for 2021 Bright Lights Summer Camps for K-8 Kids

If you’re looking for unique, motivating, hands-on learning opportunities for your children during summer 2021, be sure to register for Bright Lights (BrightLights.org) Summer Camps! Registration opens February 27—at BrightLights.org—for their 35th summer of offering camps for K-8th grade students. The weeklong camps are fabulous for maximizing the fun of summer vacation for elementary and middle-school students while also ensuring parents that their children are avoiding learning loss. Bright Lights camps cover a broad range of curricula and allow students to explore their interests in a fun way that is challenging and inspiring. These extra learning opportunities may be more important than ever this year, given the reduced social interaction students have had during the last year.

Bright Lights summer camps are scheduled for five weeklong sessions, including June 7-11; June 14-18 (International Week at Lux Middle School); June 21-25; June 28-July 2; and July 12-16. The entire schedule, including specific half-day and full-day camp topics for each week, is available on the website. Holmes Elementary is once again the main site for Bright Lights camps this year. Other locations include various community sites around Lincoln, and before-care and lunch-care services are available at select sites.
