The inaugural Heroes Honor Ride (HHR) (heroeshonorride.org) roared through South Dakota delivering a stirring tribute to courage, sacrifice, and community service. Over 150 riders joined the 40-mile procession from Belle Fourche to the legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, honoring our nation’s heroes.
This year’s honored hero, Gold Star family member Preston Yeager, was presented with a custom-built motorcycle by Xotic Customs (Lincoln, NE) before leading the commemorative ride alongside fellow participants and special guests.
The event drew notable figures including Chris Kael of Five Finger Death Punch, Purple Heart veteran and country artist Scotty Hasting, two-time UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia, and actor Frankie Loyal from Mayans M.C., all lending their voices and presence to amplify the cause.
Founded by a group of motorcycle enthusiasts and longtime community advocates, Heroes Honor Ride is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that channels its passion for motorcycles into a mission of gratitude. For over 15 years, the individuals behind HHR have supported veterans and first responders. HHR proudly allocated 100% of registration donations toward honoring this year’s hero with the custom bike build, while merchandise sales and one-time contributions helped support their cause.
As HHR looks ahead to next year’s ride, the organization is calling on supporters nationwide to help continue its mission and recognize a new hero whose story deserves to be told. To contribute or learn more about how you can be part of this powerful movement, visit (heroeshonorride.org).
