The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum (SAC, sacmuseum.org) is excited to invite the community to visit on the morning of September 16 to join a celebration of our nation’s military members, Veterans and their families at the Nation of Patriots Tour Homecoming event.

The event will feature a special address by President and CEO Clayton Anderson, Nebraska’s very own astronaut. The gathering will take place in front of the Museum, providing guests and riders a unique opportunity to connect and reflect on the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. Following the address, riders and a dedicated Nebraska State Patrol escort will embark on the final leg of the flag’s 115-day journey back to Papillion.

The Nation of Patriots Tour, which commenced at the SumTur Amphitheater in Papillion in May, will culminate on this day, symbolizing a remarkable cross-country appreciation ride spanning all 50 states. This event serves as a poignant way to honor the dedication of those who have bravely served our country and offers a platform for the community to demonstrate unwavering support for our military community.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the celebration on September 16 and come together to pay tribute to our military heroes and express our gratitude for their selfless service.
