Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening as Fresh Start presents Project Funway: The Final Walk on Friday, October 30 at The Cornhusker Marriott. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a night of creativity, community and celebration.
For over a decade, Project Funway has been more than a fashion show, it has been a powerful symbol of transformation. Much of that impact has been made possible through the incredible partnership with students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design (TMFD) program. Their talent, innovation and dedication have helped bring this event to life year after year.
Due to the loss of funding for UNL’s TMFD program, this year’s event will mark the FINAL WALK for Project Funway. While this chapter is coming to a close, Fresh Start is committed to honoring the legacy, creativity and heart that these students have poured into this event, and the lives they have helped uplift along the way.
Join them as they celebrate the final runway, reflect on years of impact and continue supporting Fresh Start’s mission of empowering women on their journey to independence.
