Say Hey There (sayheythere.com), a woman-owned creative studio known for its authentic approach and engaging brand voice, is celebrating a major milestone this summer: its 10th anniversary.

Founded by Mikala Harden in 2014, Say Hey There has partnered with more than 115 organizations on marketing and communications over the past decade, including Child Saving Institute, Foster Care Review Office, Heartland Cancer Foundation, First Responders Foundation and Safe2Help.

“Exactly ten years ago this summer, I took a leap off the ledge,” said Mikala Harden, Founder and Creative Director of Say Hey There. “I left my agency job to forge into the unknown and start something of my own. Most businesses close their doors by this point, and I don’t take it for granted that we’re still here.”

Say Hey There’s specialty lies in combining contemporary techniques with artisanal authenticity to manage brand strategies, develop creative content, and launch marketing and communications campaigns.

“Ultimately, our mission from the beginning has been to help nonprofits and causes speak up and be heard,” said Harden. “I know the fundraising world, and I know community engagement,” explained Harden. “Each cause and each organization is unique, and I believe it’s vital to hone in each brand’s individual voice and value to connect with potential advocates.”

Say Hey There partners with nonprofits and other community-focused organizations. Their philosophy is that the best way to promote a cause and spread awareness is through a strategy focused on compelling content, community engagement, and special campaigns.
