Classes, friendships, and wellness opportunities are thriving at Willard Community Center (willardcommunitycenter.org). This fall, Willard Community Center is expanding its lineup of programs designed to keep older adults active, creative and connected. From fitness and art to storytelling and social gatherings, Willard makes it easy for aging adults and seniors to stay engaged in both mind and body. “Willard has always been a place where friendship has no age limit,” said Sarah Reinke, Executive Director of Willard Community Center. “We’re excited to see so many new faces joining our classes, and we’re proud to partner with organizations like the YMCA and Nebraska Arts Council to offer meaningful activities that enrich daily life.”
Current offerings include:
- Fit for Life Strength & Stretch (with the YMCA): Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10–10:45 a.m.
- Prints & Memories: Printmaking Class with artist Liz Shea McCoy (funded by the Nebraska Arts Council): Mondays, 2–3:15 p.m., Oct. 27–Dec. 15 (it’s not too late to register!)
