To kick off the New Year, nonprofit Tabitha (Tabitha.org)—Nebraska’s leading senior care provider— is drumming up awareness and support for its crucial senior-focused programs.
Tabitha consists of four campuses and living communities—two in Lincoln, one in Crete and another in Grand Island—and provides in-home health and hospice services throughout 27 counties in Nebraska. Tabitha’s renowned resources include independent and assisted senior living options, memory care, short-stay rehabilitation for caregiver respite and long-term skilled nursing with the support of expert nurses.
In addition, Tabitha Meals on Wheels delivers nutrition, connection, safety and independence to hundreds of seniors who rely on the program to remain at home. Since 1967, over 5.5 million meals have been delivered within the capital city.
“What sets Tabitha apart is attentive, personalized care…” said Jeff McGinn, Vice President, Tabitha Foundation, “…plus our local presence since 1886; our life-altering, and often life-saving, resources; and the unwavering commitment of team members who are deeply invested in the areas in which they live and work. As a nonprofit, generous donors and community gifts make Tabitha’s purpose—empowering people to live joyfully, age gratefully—possible.”
