Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is pleased to offer a volunteer training for all individuals interested in contributing to the Tabitha Continuum of Elder Care Services. Volunteer opportunities are vast and can be tailored to meet individual interests and needs. Whether it’s an hour each month delivering a nutritious meal through Tabitha Meals on Wheels, playing bingo with Tabitha residents, comforting a Tabitha Hospice client or helping out with administrative tasks, Tabitha volunteering is the answer.
General Tabitha volunteer orientation will be held on September 10, 10-11 a.m. and September 22, 5:30-6:30 p.m., on Tabitha’s main campus in Lincoln, 4720 Randolph Street. A special training for Tabitha Hospice volunteers will be held September 11 and 25, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. All sessions are required to receive hospice volunteer certification. Sign up by contacting Susan Eichele at (402) 486-8506, Susan.Eichele@Tabitha.org.
