Nonprofit, Nebraska-based Tabitha (tabitha.org) reinforces their commitment to the communities they have been invited to serve by being a leading provider and resource for older adults. New endeavors are in full swing throughout the state for 2023.

Tabitha teamed up with Immanuel in late 2021 to form Tabitha Home Health & Hospice | A Collaboration with Immanuel. This expansion allows Tabitha to ensure its services are accessible to clients in the greater Omaha area including Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, Saunders, and Cass counties, whether they live at home or in a living community. Hospice services are now available and Home Health Care is to come. These services will continue to evolve to meet the needs in the area.

S2age Living by Tabitha is making great strides with construction in progress—it now has a roof! The first-of-its-kind in-the-nation intergenerational living community, in the heart of Lincoln, at Tabitha’s Main Campus will be home to older adults (55+) and Bryan College of Health Science Students. This unique community will offer a variety of amenities such as a bistro, designated study/learning spaces, pet spa, fenced dog park and a rooftop lounge—all meant to facilitate lasting, memorable connections between generations. The $26-million project began construction in 2021 and is located at the corner of S. 47th and ‘J’ Streets. S2age is slated to open in Fall 2023.
