TeamMates of Lincoln and Runza® Celebrate Mentoring with Annual “TeamMates Runza® Day”

For the 15th consecutive year, Runza® supported TeamMates Mentoring (LincolnTeamMates.org) with their annual fundraiser, TeamMates Runza® Day, donating 10% of sales from 11 of their stores in Lincoln. This one-day fundraising event provides significant financial support and brand awareness for TeamMates of Lincoln.

“This year was our best year yet with almost $6,500 raised,” said Jim Bennett, Lincoln TeamMates Coordinator. “This generous donation helps us match and support many mentors and mentees.”

TeamMates of Lincoln serves more than 1,300 students and is the largest chapter in the national TeamMates Mentoring program, which has 192 chapters in five states.

“We are so grateful to Runza® for supporting TeamMates here in Lincoln. Once again, they demonstrate their dedication to mentoring and this community. TeamMates and Runza® are two organizations founded in Nebraska and we are honored to partner together,” said Bennett.

Runza®’s ongoing support assists in fulfilling TeamMates’ mission of positively impacting the world by inspiring students to reach their full potential through mentoring. TeamMates thanks Runza® for making community youth a priority.
