Nationwide in March, Jersey Mike’s launched their “Month of Giving” raising a record breaking $25 million to help 200+ local charities including TeamMates of Lincoln (lincolnteammates.org). During Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on March 29, TeamMates of Lincoln received 100% of local sales.
“We couldn’t be more thankful for this great gift,” said Jim Bennett, TeamMates of Lincoln Coordinator. “The donations will be used to match more mentors with students across the city.”
TeamMates staff enjoyed greeting guests at both Jersey Mike’s locations and thanking them for showing up to support TeamMates of Lincoln. Stacey Blizek, a TeamMates staff member who has helped host the “Day of Giving” for years said, “I couldn’t believe the outstanding turnout and support from the community!”
Customers had a win-win, enjoying great food for a great cause. Christine Davis applauded the partnership with the Jersey Mike’s crew, “Even with heavy customer traffic, the Jersey Mike’s crew made everyone feel welcome. They were stellar to work with before and during the event.”
Lincoln TeamMates makes a meaningful impact in the local community and beyond by inspiring youth to reach their full potential through mentoring.
