It’s not too late to get your team of friends and co-workers together for the Lincoln Children’s Museum (www.lincolnchildrensmuseum.org) upcoming Play, Putt & Pour golf event. Mark your calendars for Friday, September 22. The event kicks off with a 9 a.m. Shotgun start at the Holmes Golf Course (3701 S 70th St.).
Golf enthusiasts and supporters of the Lincoln Children’s Museum are invited to take part in this event for grown-ups, combining friendly competition with charitable giving. Players can register a four-person team and enjoy 18-holes of golf complete with two carts, complementary lunch and two drink tickets per team member.
Participants can look forward to local brewery tents located throughout the course, showcasing Saro Cider, Pint Nine Brewing Co., Bottle Rocket Brewing Co., Empyrean Brewing and Morgan’s Liquor Works along with additional games, pin prizes and a silent auction.
