The Bridge Behavioral Health (thebridgenebraska.org) is in need of donations. In a typical year, 1,100 individuals will access services at The Bridge. Over 85% of their clients cannot afford the treatment they need, but no one is turned away because of their inability to pay. Whether someone is seeking withdrawal services, respite or residential treatment, The Bridge provides them with the necessities to ensure a dignified and comfortable stay. Some of the most requested items during the summer are water bottles, athletic shorts and sunscreen.
This August, The Bridge Behavioral Health is hosting a summer supply drive to collect new/unused items such as clear reusable water bottles, athletic shorts (sizes L-2XL), underwear (sizes L-2XL), flip flops (all sizes) and travel-size sunscreen. Visit thebridgenebraska.org/support-us to shop The Bridge’s Amazon wish list and ship items directly to their office. Donations can also be dropped off Monday – Sunday at 721 K St. If you or your organization is interested in hosting a donation drive, contact Taylor Brethouwer for more information at tbrethouwer@thebridgenebraska.org or (402) 413-2203.
