The Set Me Free Project Receives Grant to Prevent Sex Trafficking

In April, The Set Me Free Project (setmefreeproject.net), an organization that educates youth and families on preventing sex trafficking, was awarded a generous grant from Woodbine Community School District and Education Foundation for $9,400. The organization is extremely thankful for the continued support they receive from the Woodbine community.

As summer approaches, this is the most flexible time in the year for schools and communities to schedule an educational event with The Set Me Free Project. Their team would love the opportunity to present at parent nights, community events, youth groups, businesses, etc. Schedule now by going to the ‘request an educator’ tab at setmefreeproject.net. Presentations cover the following crucial topics: sex trafficking, social media safety, forming healthy relationships, and more. The Set Me Free Project curriculum is informative, interactive, and flexible, reaching students grades 3–12, educators, parents, and leaders in every facet of our communities.

The mission of The Set Me Free Project is to stop human trafficking before it starts.
