People’s City Mission (PCM) (pcmlincoln.org) is hosting their annual Santa’s Workshop Christmas Toy Giveaway for families in need on Saturday, December 14. They anticipate helping over 5,000 people, including shelter guests and low-income families who shop at the Help Center.

At this event, families in need at the shelter and in the public can shop for free for Christmas gifts for their kids. Santa will also be in the house! If you or someone you know is struggling this season, contact the Help Center at (402) 475-6888 for more information. Shoppers will need a Clarity card to participate. Clarity cards can be obtained at the Help Center on Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m., no appointment necessary.

All the toys are donated by individuals, businesses and organizations from around the Lincoln area, and free gift wrapping will also be provided. Anyone who would like to donate a new toy or gift can bring them to the Help Center at 6800 P St. or the PCM Shelter at 110 Q St. The deadline to participate in donating is Monday, December 9. They are also accepting donations of wrapping supplies.

People’s City Mission wants to be a witness for Christ among the poor and homeless, serve their needs and advocate their cause to the community at large. Learn more at pcmlincoln.org.
