Vision Maker Media (VMM)(visionmakermedia.org), a premier source of media by and about Native Americans since 1976, announces the 10th biennial Vision Maker Film Festival themed, “Everything is Connected.” The festival will take place throughout 2026 as an acknowledgment and celebration of VMM’s 50th anniversary.

The festival’s theme reflects the harmony, balance, and interconnectedness of life, and will feature a powerful lineup of American Indian and Alaska Native films offering Indigenous stories, cultures, and perspectives through both in-person screenings and free streaming.

In-person screenings with moderated panel discussions to follow, will take place on the second Monday of each month at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center, 313 N 13th Street, Lincoln. The first screening will be Firelighters: Fire is Medicine on January 12th.
