Wells Fargo Donates Funds to Center for People in Need’s Local Food Program

Center for People in Need (CFPIN; www.cfpin.org) recently received generous support from Wells Fargo to help fund their Neighborhood Food Program. So far this year, their Food Program has impacted 6,802 individuals within the Lincoln area. CFPIN distributes food four days a week at five locations in Lincoln to people whose income is no higher than 180% of the Federal Poverty Level.

CFPIN is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing services to low-income people that address their basic needs and help them achieve economic independence. They address basic needs, including, food, emergency services, language skills, educational opportunities, tuition assistance at Southeast Community College, and employment skills. CFPIN also advocates for policies that help people overcome obstacles to gain economic independence.
