Thanks to community investment, Willard Community Center has transformed a newly redesigned and dedicated space for adult and senior programming, made possible through generous funding from the Community Health Endowment, Immanuel Vision Foundation, and Nebraska Presbyterian Foundation.
Located on the third floor of the Center, the newly dedicated Adult Program Room was thoughtfully designed to be a welcoming and versatile environment that supports connection, wellness, and lifelong learning. The space offers a comfortable setting where participants can gather for a cup of coffee, socialize with friends, or enjoy a few rounds of cards.
Furnished with cozy couches and recliners, the room provides an inviting atmosphere for programs like the Willard Book Club, while its flexible layout with tables and chairs allows for easy transformation into a classroom-style setting for guest speakers, workshops, and educational presentations. The addition of this dedicated space supports the continued growth of Willard’s adult and senior programming, which has expanded significantly in the last year to include wellness classes, educational workshops, creative arts, and intergenerational activities.
