Acton Academy Lincoln Expands Team to Meet Demand for More Student Slots

Following the addition of more seats for K-8 students, Acton Academy Lincoln (actonacademylincoln.com) has added three new guides (teachers) as they experience burgeoning growth and are closing in on filling spaces for the fall session at the alternative-education academy in Lincoln. New guides hired recently include Devon Zurek, Montessori; Brittany Ullman, elementary; and Luke Fisher, middle school. Acton has just a handful of spots left for each of these three studios.

Founded by Zach and Heidi Harsin, Acton Academy Lincoln serves families who want the best possible independent learning experience for their children, not hampered by an antiquated one-size-fits-all, grade-specific school system. They have tripled enrollment available for the 2021-22 school year to foster more joyful, curious children by developing their individual passions. The goal of Acton Academy is to maintain a community of like-minded families seeking a modern approach to education that will help equip their kids for the 21st Century using a blend of Montessori elements, Socratic questioning, and learner-driven education that allow students to discover and develop their God-given passions and unique callings in their lives, learning through quests and apprenticeships, and developing mastery of reading, writing, and arithmetic using the latest technology and self-paced learning.

Acton Academy Lincoln is located at 8400 Cody Dr. If you’re looking for an alternative education option in Lincoln, they are hosting tours daily.
