Angels Among Us Welcomes Five New Board Members

Angels Among Us (myangelsamongus.org) is excited to welcome five new members to the Board of Directors.

Ryan Cook is a shareholder at Lutz in Omaha. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the internal relations committee and his expertise in dealing with finances. He also has an interest in expanding Angels Among Us’ footprint in the metro area.

Joel Friesen is the president of Five Nines in Lincoln, and his personal connection to pediatric cancer makes him passionate about moving Angels Among Us’ mission forward as well as expanding the exposure in the Lincoln community.

Nick Jasa is the president of One Source, The Background Check Company. His expertise in volunteer management and policy will be an important part of the new emotional support programming and engagement of community volunteers.

Rebecca McMahon is the radiation oncology manager at Nebraska Medicine and works closely with both adult and pediatric cancer patients daily. Her perspective will help bring new ideas to Angels Among Us’ programming development in the years to come.

Tom Whiteing is a financial advisor for Renaissance Financial. Since moving back to the area, he has had a desire to get involved and has decided to use his talents in the pediatric cancer community.

Angels Among Us is a Nebraska nonprofit that provides financial and emotional support to families whose children are battling pediatric cancer. Any family living in or being treated in Nebraska is eligible to apply for all support.
