The Lincoln Airport Authority (lincolnairport.com) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Griffin, A.A.E. as the new Director of Operations & Maintenance. In this role, Griffin will oversee airfield operations, facility and grounds maintenance, emergency response and security functions for the Lincoln Airport. He will also lead the airport’s safety certification and risk management programs, ensuring a safe, efficient and well-maintained operation for passengers, tenants and the community.
Griffin joins the Lincoln Airport from Fort Smith Regional Airport in Arkansas, where he served as Airport Director, managing all operations, budget and infrastructure. A seasoned aviation professional, he is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) with the American Association of Airport Executives and brings extensive leadership experience in airport management.
