Alfred Benesch & Company is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Dirks, P.E., to the Great Plains Region, serving as Vice President and Lincoln, Nebraska Division Manager. Dirks has 16 years of experience relating to the design, construction and management of public works projects with an emphasis in transportation. He has a diverse background in the design and construction of highways, streets, roadways and bridges for city, county and state agencies.
Prior to joining Benesch, Tony spent 13 years with the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) & three years with another engineering firm. Most recently, he managed the urban section of the Local Projects Division, where he was responsible for providing State and Federal oversight and/or guidance throughout all project development phases including: programming, consultant procurement, preliminary design, environmental documentation, public involvement, final design, right-of-way acquisition, bid letting, construction, and construction engineering.
