Apace (goapace.com) is proud to welcome their new board officers whose passion and experience will help guide their mission of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Jan Bestwick is the Leading Support Officer with Cornerstone Bank in York. She brings deep compassion and personal insight through her lived experience with her son, inspiring her strong commitment to inclusive communities and advocacy. Jan is also involved in Special Olympics in the York area.

Chris Blomenberg is an attorney with McHenry, Hazard Law in Lincoln. Chris specializes in Guardianships and Conservatorship, Social Security Disability, Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration, bringing a wealth of professional knowledge and heart to the board.

Paula Schulz is a retired nurse from the Lincoln area. Paula’s advocacy is deeply rooted in her personal journey—her son is the driving force behind her dedication to building a more equitable world for those in the DD community.

Each of these leaders brings unique perspectives and strengths, united by a shared commitment to empowering the individuals we support at Apace. We are grateful for their leadership and excited for what is ahead.
