Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital is pleased to announce Brooke Murtaugh, OTD, OTR/L, CBIS, was named the Occupational Therapy Practitioner of the Year at the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association’s (NOTA) annual meeting in September.
Murtaugh was nominated by practitioners from around the state. The nominations recognized her responsibility, leadership, enthusiasm, creativity, and expertise in the practice of occupational therapy (OT) in Nebraska.
Murtaugh has seven years of OT experience and has worked at Madonna since 2006. As a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, Murtaugh has been the primary OT on the brain injury treatment team for the past three years. Additionally, Murtaugh leads the Vision Rehabilitation Program at Madonna.
