November marks the 25th anniversary of Jeremy Carpenter with Willet Construction (willetconstruction.com). Jeremy started in 2001 as a carpenter and has worked his way up through the company to his current position of Production Manager. His carpentry skills are top level, so it bothered some that he was taken out of the field. But this way he can better tutor those who are coming up in the ranks the proper way to do things, and make sure work passes inspection.
His artistry is on display throughout the city in various homes and customers continue to talk about the beauty he left behind. One of the skills that earned him a promotion to Production Manager is how he deals with clients. He always keeps a cool head and knows customer satisfaction is their #1 priority. He can talk nervous homeowners off a ledge and carpenters out of a difficult situation. One thing most people don’t know is that he is responsible for the coffered ceiling in the vestibule to University Towers downtown. Look up next time you walk through the west doors. They are very thankful we have him on the team.
