CBMC Lincoln (Lincoln.cbmc.com) recently gathered with members of CBMC and the community to honor Ed Nix, who has faithfully served as Area Director from 2012–2025. The celebration, held November 24 at Lincoln Berean Church, recognized Ed’s remarkable leadership and the profound impact he has made in the lives of men across Lincoln’s business community.
Even before joining the staff team, Ed invested deeply in CBMC as a Forums member and volunteer, using his gift of encouragement to help others grow in their walk with Christ. Throughout his tenure, he became known for his wisdom, humility, and the personal relationships he built through intentional discipleship. His influence reaches far beyond organizational milestones and into the hearts of the men he has walked with over the years—mentoring business leaders, supporting young professionals, and equipping others to share their faith confidently in the marketplace.
The open-house celebration provided a meaningful opportunity for guests to express gratitude and share stories of how Ed’s guidance strengthened their personal faith and leadership. His calm presence, prayerful spirit, and unwavering commitment to the ministry have shaped the future of CBMC in Lincoln and positioned the next generation to continue advancing the mission.
As Ed steps into retirement, CBMC Lincoln extends its deepest appreciation for his dedicated service and lasting spiritual legacy in the community. To learn more about CBMC’s ongoing mission, visit Lincoln.cbmc.com or call (402) 204-1997.
