Center for People in Need Adds Jo Ann Emerson and Carole Bates to Team

The Center for People in Need (cfpin.org) is excited to announce the recent additions of Jo Ann Emerson and Carole Bates to the team.

Jo Ann was hired as director of fund development for Center for People in Need in July. Nonprofit organizations are Jo Ann’s passion and vocation, and she has served in the nonprofit world for 20 years. Her areas of expertise include grant writing, strategic planning, community building, and dreaming and envisioning better communities.

Carole has been hired as marketing and communications manager at Center for People in Need. Carole brings over 20 years of marketing and communications experience including strategy, content marketing, social media, branding, and media relations. Carole has a passion for nonprofit work and previously worked at the Nebraska Medical Association and Downtown Lincoln Association.

The Center for People in Need is dedicated to its mission of providing services to low-income people that address their basic needs and helps them achieve economic independence. The organization addresses basic needs, including food, emergency services, language skills, educational opportunities, and employment skills.
