Cornhusker Bank recently promoted Kevin Deaver to Executive Vice President. Barry Lockard, President, noted, “With more than 35 years of bank management experience, Kevin is a proven leader and is a valued member of our team. He will be a true asset to Cornhusker Bank’s future growth strategies.”
Mr. Deaver has been an associate of the bank since 2000. Prior to that time he served as President of United Nebraska Bank in Grant and Holdrege, Nebraska, after starting his banking career with the Federal Land Bank in Norfolk, Nebraska. Kevin is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Banking. Deaver also holds security and insurance licenses and is a Certified Financial Planner®, providing financial planning and wealth management services for clients.
Kevin is a member of the Nebraska Financial Planning Association and the Association of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs of Lincoln. He is involved in the Nebraska Bankers Association, is a member of the business team at Lincoln Berean Church, and is currently serving as a Director on the Cornhusker Bank Board. Kevin, and his wife, Kathy, helped start Global Orphan Hope to benefit orphans in Haiti.
