Eric Schiermeyer has joined Lincoln Federal Savings Bank (lincolnfed.com) as the new Vice President/Finance where he is excited to apply his experience and support the Bank’s continued growth. After earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Eric Schiermeyer began his career first specializing in taxes and later working as a Senior Accountant.
Eric brings a unique perspective shaped by his previous experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His expertise will help guide Lincoln Federal Savings Bank into the future with a focus on strategic, sustainable growth.
“I’m always looking for opportunities to make processes more efficient, simplify workflows and reduce manual costs,” said Schiermeyer. “I’ve already begun automating some of our daily processes, allowing the team to spend more time on higher-value work rather than repetitive administrative tasks.”
When he is not at work, Eric keeps himself busy by collecting hobbies. You can find him refining his golf game, training his dog, grilling, and even working on jigsaw puzzles. He enjoys staying active, learning new things and continually finding ways to challenge himself.
