Guiding Hands for Senior Transitions Introduces Sara Bunting to Lincoln Clients

Guiding Hands for Senior Transitions, founded by Stephanie Witt in May, has announced that Sara Bunting is coming on as a senior transition guide. As Stephanie relocates to Florida, Sara will take over her existing clients and ensure a smooth transition. Stephanie will remain active in the business in a more behind-the-scenes capacity.

Sara’s healthcare career began over 25 years ago as a respiratory therapist in an acute care hospital setting. Her journey led her to working in general care, intensive/critical care, flight and trauma care, as well as in hospital management. Sara received her master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in health in 2004. In 2013, she decided to spread her wings and began the next phase of her journey in long term care and skilled rehabilitation, receiving her Nursing Home Licensure in 2014. While working in senior care, Sara was able to spend time as a hospice director of operations and now currently as a rehabilitation care navigator.

Sara’s favorite part of being a senior transitions guide is being able to be an advocate for families and their loved ones, and doing the footwork for things like life plans, transition plans, skilled rehabilitation facility planning, long-term care planning, etc. The world of health care is confusing and complex. Being able to be a trusted resource for families and clients by helping them through some of the most difficult times of their lives is incredibly rewarding.

Guiding Hands for Senior Transitions is dedicated to being a resource for people who are not sure how to navigate the senior services and options that are available to them. For a signup fee of $100 and a monthly membership of $75, Guiding Hands will work to take away the worry and burdens of caring for a loved one.
