Hospice Community Care is pleased to welcome Gayleen Bradley to their staff as Director of Community Relations. Gayleen has worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years, and her passion resides with caring for those suffering from Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Over the last 5 years, she managed the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care Department for Home Instead Senior Care in Lincoln. Gayleen also facilitates two support groups for the Alzheimer’s Association that creates a safe environment for caregivers to discuss their personal obstacles they encounter while dealing with the disease. In her new position at Hospice Community Care, she will be able to continue to use her existing skills and knowledge. She will be an integral part of their Dementia Program that was initiated to provide advocacy to caregivers of all types, and will be increasing community awareness regarding the close ties between Alzheimer’s/Dementia and the growing need of hospice care. As the newest member of Hospice Community Care, Gayleen will be working with facilities and families helping them with guidance and making needed adjustments to assist them in caring for those who are suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
