Hospice Community Care of Nebraska welcomes Rhonda Saunders to their team as Director of Marketing. Rhonda brings over 25 years of experience working within the community as a fundraiser, event planner, educator and a marketer for an assisted living facility for those with dementia. In addition, Rhonda brings her personal experience of six plus years as a caregiver for her parents who both had Alzheimer’s and received hospice care. Having walked down this path in life, it has given her a greater insight into the challenges and emotional struggles caregivers deal with daily.
Rhonda believes in developing lasting professional relationships and giving back to the community. She is currently on the Lincoln Haymarket Development Corporation Board and sits on several of their committees, is a part of the “Friends of Matt Talbot” and is active in LIBA and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. As a former Alzheimer’s Association Board member, Rhonda is passionate about Alzheimer’s and is proud to be a part of the Hospice Community Care’s dementia program which focuses on education, support and awareness.
