Ironhide Compensates for COVID Restrictions with Change of Duties for Bob Bagwell

When COVID-19 turned Bob Bagwell’s job in business development and sales upside down, Ironhide Construction, Inc. (www.ironhideconstruction.com) reworked his position to help out in other departments. With Bob unable to carry out his daily work of meeting in-person with clients and potential clients, his job came down to web meetings and spare time, but Ironhide kept him on staff and busy, doing things like repainting the Ironhide office and finishing up projects in the office that no one had previously been able to map out the time to accomplish. Ironhide also had wanted to start a Special Projects division centered on pre-engineered metal buildings, and the downtime was beneficial for getting the new division moving.

Bob said the businesses that Ironhide deals with have all made some changes, including things like requiring that everyone wear a mask in their offices or providing designated areas to meet that can be wiped down easily after meetings, but things are starting to take a bit of a turn toward normalcy. Ironhide adapted to what other businesses required and, while it will take time, Bob is looking forward to having more in-person meetings soon.
