Kaylie Hogan-Schnittker Appointed Co-Chair of Lincoln STEM Ecosystem
The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (stemecosystems.org/ecosystem/lincolnstem-ecosystem-lnkse) is proud to announce that Kaylie Hogan-Schnittker, Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development director of talent strategy, has been named a co-chair for Lincoln’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Ecosystem.
“As co-chair of the Lincoln STEM Ecosystem, I will be working to build meaningful connections among educators, business, and industry partners and afterschool programs to develop Lincoln students for future opportunities,” says Hogan-Schnittker.
Lincoln STEM Ecosystem (LNKSE) works to build a stronger Lincoln by educating professionals and training the next generation workforce. LNKSE works with local entities such as the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, EmployLNK, and others to bring together area workforce development focused agencies and nonprofits that work with young adults to continue STEM-based education.
As growing Lincoln industries such as health care, manufacturing, technology, and skilled trade/construction continue to expand in the near and short term future, STEM opportunities remain abundant with area employers as students are prepared for the opportunities of the future. The goal of the ecosystem is to increase access to these opportunities across the community and connect with area employers.
